This 100 % natural and chemical-free substrate forms the ideal base layer for bioactive terrariums, vivariums, and tropical enclosures. OMC Tropical Soil is rich in organic matter and helps maintain moisture levels, supports live plant growth, and encourages beneficial microfauna to thrive. As a result, it promotes healthy ecosystems where your reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates can behave naturally and live comfortably.

In addition, OMC Tropical Soil improves humidity regulation and drainage, preventing waterlogging while keeping the substrate aerated. Its loose, nutrient-rich structure encourages root development in tropical plants, ferns, bromeliads, and mosses. When used alongside OMC Leaf Litter, Leca Balls, and Terrarium Drainage Mesh, it creates a complete, layered environment for both animal and plant life.

💧 Usage Tips

Spread a 5–10 cm layer of OMC Tropical Soil as your base substrate. A deeper layer will support a larger root system. For best results, use above a drainage layer of OMC Leca Balls and Terrarium Netting, then top with OMC Leaf Litter or OMC Dried Sphagnum Moss. Mist regularly to maintain humidity, and avoid oversaturation. Replace or refresh as needed to maintain a clean, balanced habitat.
